Silver Cloud Care NI Receives Excellent RQIA Inspection Report

We are incredibly proud to announce that Silver Cloud Care NI has received an excellent outcome in a recent unannounced inspection conducted by the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA) on 22 May 2025.
This inspection assessed our services across all key domains—Safe, Effective, Compassionate, and Well-led—and we are thrilled to report that no areas for improvement were identified.

The RQIA inspection confirmed what we at Silver Cloud Care NI strive for every day: delivering high-quality, person-centred care that enables our service users to maintain independence and dignity in their own homes.

✅ Recruitment, Training & Staff Satisfaction
Inspectors found our recruitment procedures to be rigorous, ensuring all pre-employment checks were completed.
Staff are appropriately registered with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) and receive regular, high-quality training.
Induction processes were praised, including a combination of orientation and shadowing.
Staff feedback was overwhelmingly positive:

Care plans were described as “very detailed and always up to date.”
Staff are given comprehensive information to meet the needs of each service user and feel supported by the management team.
Collaborative communication with service users, families, and Trust representatives was noted as a strength.

Our service is led by Mrs Roisin McLeod, whose leadership was described as motivated and committed.
Quality monitoring, complaints management, and safeguarding protocols were all found to be robust and well-implemented.
